We believe the Bible is the inspired inerrant word of God; hence we submit to its authority for matters of truth, faith and conduct.
We believe in one God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God became incarnate through the virgin birth of Mary. Jesus, through His death and bodily resurrection, provided a substitutionary atonement for man's sins. He ascended into heaven, where He is our intercessor and Great High Priest.
We believe that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son and dwells in the hearts of believers. He draws people unto salvation and effects their sanctification, working in them to will and to do God's good pleasure. The Holy Spirit empowers His people for the service of bearing witness to the Kingdom of God. He is instrumental in bringing His people together in a corporate body, the Church. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and various gifts of the Spirit to edify the believer and the Body. We celebrate our love for the Lord through regular participation in the Lord's Supper, (communion).
We believe that all mankind is created in the image of God; yet born with a sinful nature, at enmity with God. Salvation from sin, death and hell is acquired only through faith in the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a free gift of God's grace, apart from any human performance or merit, given to the one who places his confidence in this completed work of Christ. We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward sign of one's conversion.
